Verify CONFIG_TDP_CONTROL Configuration

These tests verify the configuration of CONFIG_TDP_CONTROL Configuration register.

Usage:

chipsec_main -m common.config_tdp

Example:
>>> chipsec_main.py -m common.config_tdp

Requirements to run this module:

  • Server platform

  • MSR_PLATFORM_INFO.CONFIG_TDP_LEVELS must be defined

  • MSR_PLATFORM_INFO.CONFIG_TDP_LEVELS is not 0

  • MSR_RAPL_POWER_UNIT must be defined
